Jazz is novel about the life of black of people who are living in America. So this novel is going to explore the life of blacks under the white people kingship. This novel explores the life of women who are suffering too much in white brutality. In this novels there are three main characters, Violet, Joe & Dorcas, whom the story revolves around. Violet & Joe age is about 50 years above and they are living a very uncomfortable life because they have no child that's why their life is on the verge of chaos. Actually Violet is very boring woman that why her husband is not happy with her. So due to all these reason her husband fall in love with a young girl named, Dorcas, she is living with her aunt named, Alice Manfred. Joe & Dorcas meeting happened because Joe sales some cosmetics about women, that's why he came to the Dorcas aunt house to sale some cosmetics. So romance begins and this remains from January 1925 to October 1925. In this period, both met number of times and they exchange gifts. For these secret meetings, Joe seeks the help of a Dorcas neighbor named, Malvonne Edwards. She also arranges a separate room for both for their meetings. These meetings remain continuously for a long period but Violet & Dorcas aunt remained unaware of these all affairs........................................
